It's Saint Charbel's feast day - watch a movie online about his life

Today is the feast day of Saint Charbel (also spelled Sharbel).  I've posted a movie on his life you can stream online before, but thought it would be good to pass along again.  Even if you can't get to this today, bookmark it and watch it later.  You'll have to work through English subtitles unless you know the language in the film.  And, I have seen it on YouTube with other language subtitles.

Saint Charbel was  contemplative, monastic, and ascetic - something that seems so foreign to us today because the emphasis is on comfort and indulgence, not freely chosen redemptive suffering (Col 1:24) and sacrifice. This movie is good for those considering a priestly vocation or consecrated life.

Can lay people learn something from someone like Saint Charbel?   Sure.  Watch the movie and discover for yourself what God might say through the experience.

If you enjoyed Into Great Silence, you should like this movie about the life of this saint.   It's on YouTube, in it's entirety.
