Fr. Perrone's Sermon for the Feast of St. Monica (Extraordinary Form)

Rick, the webmaster for the Grotto homepage, the Sts Cyril & Methodius homepage, and the St. Monica Sodality of Michigan site, has uploaded audio of Fr. Perrone's sermon captured at last night's Mass. I would estimate that between 400-500 people were in attendance. 250-300 were expected, so it was an awesome turnout.

Fr. Perrone celebrated the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite at Sts Cyril & Methodius - his first Mass as celebrant at the parish. The feast is celebrated in August in the Ordinary Form and this provides an opportunity to do so twice.

The St. Monica Sodality is dedicated to prayer for friends and family who have fallen away from the Catholic faith. In his sermon, Fr. Perrone talks about St. Monica - the mother of St. Augustine, and why she is the perfect intercessor.

Go to the St. Monica Sodality website to view some of Rick's pictures, and to listen to the audio online.

I have not had a chance to edit and upload my pics yet, but they will be available soon. Rick and I often work together, capturing a number of photos from different angles.
