New Rector Named for Sacred Heart Major Seminary

Msgr. Jeffrey Monforton is the new rector/president of Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Ordained in 1994, he has served the Detroit archdiocese as a parish priest, teacher, and personal secretary to Cardinal Maida. Msgr. Monforton says he is "both humbled and honored" by the appointment. He succeeds Fr. Steven Boguslawski, O.P., who was named acting director of the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center.
